9 games in 29 days in October for us.

Much as Managers often speak of enjoying time to work at things on the training ground, I rather imagine the players will prefer the momentum that builds with having regular, competitive matches.

It would just be brilliant if we could get off to a good start in October. It's all going to come thick and fast - just hope the lads thrive.

Potentially interesting to see how some of the other squads cope with this spell too.

I would like to see diaz tried at midfield.....has the work ethic would provide a goal threat. Given our lack of bodies feel he could be great there. Would allow elliot to be tried in one of the forward positions.

Need to start winning now. or we will get cut adrift Brighton need to be punished for taking points off us in recent games
    So 3 vital points today

I half-expect a draw or loss (today) but for results to pick up after that.

I haven't gone to the effort of looking up all of our results after international breaks to formulate that thought, but it "feels like" we tend to have a dud result after a break and it also "feels like" our results are generally pretty good when we have to play more regularly due to the rhythm carrying between games.

They're above us in the Table at present so I expect a tough game. Hopefully with Potter gone they'll have a new Manager "slump" rather than a "bounce" as it's not like the usual situation of a Manager departing on account of having run their course.

    Alisson
    Trent Matip Van Dijk Tsimikas
    Hendo Fabinho Thiago
    Salah Jota Diaz

Good to have Hendo back and the likes of Trent Matip Fabinho and Thiago well rested. Sounds like Konate might be on the bench too.

Would be a great result with our disjointed start and with Brighton being a very tidy side - let's hope we get it! Delighted you're in confident mood this morning!
