There's definitely still "value" out there. The World is full of good footballers.

I'd rather spend 3 x £40m to get 3 mids in than desperately scramble for Bellingham, much as I would like him here.

The frustrating thing is that players don't have to be anything special to make the midfield function in a Klopp team. It can't be that hard to find midfielders that are athletic, who can press and won't spend half the season injured without breaking the bank.

True BUT it's not an easy sell. Come and service our star players. Run and run and run and tuck in whenever one of our FB's wants to steam forward.. Any player in this mould would be aware - as would their agent - of the massive work involved. This is where the likes of Henderson and Gini need all the credit for their selflessness. It is a tough job.

On the flip side Steveo players like Ward-Prowse have to do that playing at Southampton every week.

Its a hard sell to ball players or from big clubs agreed.

I would equate holding down a place in Klopp’s midfield, with trying to fight a rip tide with an arm tied behind your back.

Correct my point is he would more than likely jump at chance to play here and do same role.

Not saying it has to be him but I select him as he is hard working, decent ability and hardly injured.

Curtis jones is back from injury and in the squad, that's something to be excited about, game winner off the bench
