I think henderson should start this game, it's his level

saves watching him chase shadows v City

how are rangers not shit?? the "big players" are mostly from the championship??

according to transfermarkt Squad is only worth 25m more than Norwich ffs

Ryan kent the most valuable player at 15m

Roofe Goldson? 37 year old steve davies, Ben davies?Lundstram ? Tom fucking lawrence from relegated derby?

Who am I missing?? who is very good? the 18 year old kid they played at CB V US?

Why should are squad that's worth 8-9 times more not be expected to beat these? how are these above average? how does rangers survive the prem if they was in this league?? Just about maybe....

I think everyone acknowledges there's a massive disparity in quality between Liverpool and Rangers - and I am certainly quietly confident about us getting a win.

Ibrox can have an effect on a European night so I want zero complacency. Yes, Rangers aren't anything "special" but they beat Dortmund last year over two legs and reached a Europa League Final.

Of our remaining Champion's League group fixtures, it's the most winnable one and represents the last time where we have a good chance of a "favour" (Napoli beating Ajax would be great) so I'd make the most of the opportunity by fielding good players, then hooking them when the job looks done.

    Kelleher

    Ramsay Gomez Phillips Tsimikas

    Milner Fabinho Jones

    Salah Firmino Carvalho
You want us to play the same team as against arsenal and city then

    3 in a week?

When the players are dropping like flys?

    You're clever

you think henderson can handle that yeah?> and thiago ?

Let's not rotate (Injury's aside) and see what happens then!

No I want to play the side I posted, I've picked it on the basis of your assessment of Rangers as if you're correct it should easily be good enough to do the job

It’s a head fook for Jurgen tbh. We should get the job done if we go anything close to strongest lineup BUT what about City? The guys will be on the floor… Away in London - Then Glasgow - then a monumental fight with Pep’s cavalry…! In a week.

It’s about as bad as it could be right now. What to do

I'd base my team on who I wanted to rest ahead of the weekend, so v City

    Alisson

    Gomez Konate Van Dijk Tsimikas

    Thiago Henderson Milner

    Salah Jota Nunez

I'd rest as many of those as possible for the Rangers game

If the floodlights aren’t working, it should defo be voided and the points given to the away side.

Thus far, Napoli are upholding their end of the bargain.

If it stays at it is, a win tonight means we "only" need a draw against Ajax to qualify for the knockouts.

Think qualification would give a lot of the lads a huge lift.

    Here's the team

    Alisson

    Gomez Konate Van Dijk Tsimikas

    Henderson Fabinho

    Elliott Firmino Carvalho

    Nunez

Big job for Hendo playing in a midfield bereft of any ability but his considerable own in pressing and counter pressing and picking players up, still, it's only Rangers so I thoroughly expect our lads to administer the bumming get the win and another absolutely vital 3 points
