Your team v Napoli (Champion's League, group stage, second game)

The Leeds and Forest matches will haunt us.

Back to the Champion's League, though with qualification secure we will have a beady eye on that Tottenham fixture - our last remaining away game in any competition before the World Cup.

    .........................Kelleher

    Ramsay......Gomez.......Phillips.....Tsimikas

    ................Milner.......Bajcetic

    ......Elliott.........Jones......Carvalho

    ......................Firmino

I think it's very safe to say that my proposed line-up won't be happening. However I would love to see us rest/rotate as many lads as we can.

Yes, we can technically top the group via a 4-0 win. However I don't think the risk of going full-strength yields much reward - you might get an easier tie in the last-16 but we'll meet a top side eventually so there's little point - and the £2.4m incentive for winning the match isn't even particularly alluring either.

Besides, the idea of us beating Napoli 4-0 given our current situation is pretty laughable.

Napoli - Back to 433 as we should be now our mids are back anyway and so we always have an outball when pressed aggressively

    Kelleher

    Ramsay Phillips Gomez Tsimikas

    Milner Fabinho Bajcetic

    Elliott Fiirmino Carvalho

That's the team, leave all the senior lads out, we HAVE to get a result v Spurs now, we're already through to the last 16 of the Champions League

    Team V Spurs

    Alisson

    Trent Konate Van Dijk Robertson

    Thiago Henderson Jones

    Salah Nunez Carvalho

Thiago's best ever performances for us have come at RCM, Jones' at LCM, why we'd bring him on today with Thiago having been all over the place at LCM anyway and not put both in the positions they've played at their best for us is beyond me

Keep it tight for 93 and a half minutes then just go for it.

Ox is not in the CL squad same as Keita.

I was worried about injuries but now i'm not arsed our season is done regardless of who we save for Spurs.

Yes, forgot about that. Sorry. Jones for fab so with milner at 6.

Rest all the senior midfielders, they need it.

Hoping for a bit of a damp squib. Napoli could genuinely win Serie A this year so with luck they think resting players is best.

If they play their best side to maintain winning momentum it could be nasty.

Don’t fear, we can surround them with all our “bodies”.

Looks like we will be going strong v Napoli. Klopp is suggesting that at least.
