For England to win they would have to play Iran, Ecuador, Costa Rica type until the final. As soon as they meet Portugal, Brazil, Spain, France, and Belgium level they will lose. Luck of the draw helps but you won't avoid all of those in a WC, at least 2 or 3 matches will be against such oppo. England will never beat those. Euro 2020 was the best chance to win as the draw was so favorable, even in 2018 the draw fell open so well and the first quality team they played in Croatia couldn't do it.
