Players playing in Europe has broken the fear of these so called big nations. This world cup is a catalyst. Those freak 7-0 of Spain will still happen and England trashing Iran but where teams have quality they are no longer sitting back and saying just don't beat us by more than 3 or 4. So refreshing to see, playing surface is equal now.

For some reason have never been able to take to a Brazilian team since the 2002 team which I loved. That goal was amazing though.

I felt like crying when the 1982 side went out 3-2 to a Paolo Rossi hat-trick...Great going forward,dodgy at the back sadly...

That Saudi victory has set this world cup alight. Especially for the Arab nations. Tunisia were pumped in their match. Morocco good draw and now Itan victory. Would be good for the tournament if one of these 4 reach the quarter final. Even if Qatar can win next 2 but don't want that as I want Senegal to do well as they the strongest African team on paper.
