Just a wider thought beyond this evening.

It always "feels like" Man City have loads of easy fixtures, due to their high win rate.

But tonight is the start of a potentially difficult run for them that takes them right through to mid-February before their Leipzig game in Europe.

Haven't listed every fixture (Everton is a gimme surely) but some of these matches include -

Playing us tonight, away to Leeds, away to Chelsea, Chelsea again 3 days later in the FA Cup, away to Man United, playing Spurs at home, away to Spurs and away to Arsenal.

Arsenal can really crank the pressure up by beating West Ham and going 8 points clear before City play Leeds. City players have a lot of World Cup minutes under their belts too

Considering how much we've got to make up just to solidify CL I don't think it matters how hard citys run is right now.

I have to say it'll be fascinating to see what happens when league games resume. Will we be as poor? Has this break ruined arsenals momentum? Is Newcastle going to continue their great form and maintain their CL spot?

Unfortunately if we don’t win the league, I find myself wanting City to win it, as another league title means little to them right now, providing they don’t get the CL.
However an Arsenal title win would elevate from a bit of a joke to real contenders when it comes to attracting players etc. We don’t need any more competition on that front.

I thought Bobby Clark was a midfield player.
What's up with Trent and Bobby?
