    Goat

Sadly very much looking like Pelé on his last few days of life.
"The king" Pele is still the GOAT .
With Maradona 2nd in the pecking order.

Up until the world cup win messi not even in the top 5.
    Ronaldo makes the top 10.

Well it’s all about opinions on this subject and as I only saw Pele in WC Tournaments I really can’t put him at the top of my list.
Maradona however, not only was he a supremely gifted footballer he did it in different leagues at a time when defenders were allowed knuckle dusters and baseball bats.

Always going to be skewed towards attacking/creative players.

I'd love to see the media do more categorised listings. I'd find analysis of the likes of Baresi and Maldini more interesting than another Messi v Ronaldo debate (speaking about social media, not this thread).

That top 10 list is rubbish puskas has to be there.

I think there are other lists from different magazines / sites they do put in the top 25 Puskas 11th, Baresi 21st, Maldini 15th , even Bobby Charlton 23rd and George Best comes in 20th.
+ Garrincha, Muller, Platini , Romario, Eusebio, Mathaus.

    Zico 25th.
I put him in the top 10, for 2 reasons.
    1. Souness said the only player he could never get close to.
    2. I saw him at a tournament recently. 😊🤣

He was originally named Edson Arantes do Nascimento after Thomas Edison -- his birth came as electricity was introduced to his remote hometown of Tres Coracoes in the state of Minas Gerais. A fitting name for a player who would go on to illuminate the game of football.

Not so fitting really - this might come as a shock .. teehee.. but his name should have probably been derived from Tesla..

Just shows you how the credit rarely goes to the genuine goat...
