    Wow
    Very enjoyable video.
People (new gen) argue messi and Ronaldo only GOATS .
    But Pele is.
If Pele and Garrincha in todays football , they'd be ahead.
This old cliché, imagine their value today's market.

The World Cup is not the pinnacle of football excellence therefore excluding players for not winning it is unfair

Garrincha famous for his footballing skills, was also well known for his deformed legs originating from birth where one leg bent outward and the other bent inward and was quite abit shorter in length.
It was an unmistakable feature for anyone who saw him play, yet it didn't appear to effect his skill with the ball as many thought it would.

That is debatable. Regardless of what Mourinho may have said.. The best international teams are arguably stuffed full of a higher concentration of top level players than almost any club sides. For instance name a club side with a better squad than France can call upon, or Brazil or Argentina, or Spain? There won’t be many… I think you will find even the best clubs have gaps in quality in more than a few areas. Team play might be the highest at club level but actual individual play?

The Spanish World Cup winning team for instance are imo a better team with even more quality than the best Barca side including Messi. And that Barca side were one of the best ever. Only eclipsed by the best Milan and Real sides.

Nobody would suggest that the best international side would beat the best club side - as they don’t play together with the same regularity. But the World Cup IS considered the highest level. As an individual it probably is. You haven’t got the security of that team you practise with week in week out. As an individual you are up against the very best opponents from every nation. Some nations can’t put out that many top players. But to win the tournament and do well consistently you will face a huge array of top class players.

What IS the highest level any player can reach imo - is being able to go to a mid table side that never had won a league title and STILL in 2023 has NEVER won a league title since… winning 2 league titles in the worlds strongest league - a league arguably stronger than any league in history.

What Diego did at Napoli is just off the charts and will probably never be done by any player.

There really isn’t anyone to compare with him on that score but beyond that - nobody came close to doing what he did on a football pitch.
