Yep, our best years had to also be two of their best years. We were on 37 points after 16 games last year, City were 38.
This year we are 9 less and City are 11 less.

Never mind Man City droppings points - all of a sudden we are just 6 points behind Newcastle, while we have a game in hand - plus the smaller matter of Newcastle's next opponents being Arsenal.

We are hunting down 4th spot, but we could begin to hunt down 3rd spot if we get a couple of favourable results.

And Saka puts Arsenal 1-0 up at Brighton in the first minute

Curious to monitor them next season.

It's too early to tell if they have become genuinely brilliant for the short-mid term, or if they are having a 13/14 situation.

Arsenal are lucky to be meeting Brighton without Caicedo or MacAllister.

They play Newcastle, Tottenham and Man United before the end of January. Could potentially do us a couple of favours.

Different between our play and Arsenal is they drop off a bit further they dont have the high line, likle us.. but they have midfielders that run from deep. We press and play long and try and get the second ball. when it breaks down 2/3 passes and the opposition are near our box. A bit more control in our play wouldnt go a miss.

Goals change all the time. Right now I'd settle for a momentous 3rd place.
