Ive never seen a team win consistently with 3 at the back.Just gives the opposition more of the ball and it isolates your forwards. Theres no width if your wingbacks don't get forward. Its ok if you wanna be patient and suck teams onto you and break with Son and Kane. Again if you don't have possession in the oppositions half .you've no chance of creating any chances.

Managers have certain ways of playing Conte plays defensively and managers never seem to change their approach.
It wont work in England. In Italy he got away with it because Lukaku scored countless goals.

Managers should always be considering different tactics, even if they are continually successful.

Juve dominated Serie A with three at the back for a decade.

Pep has used it on and off in all his teams. Doesn’t trust it with the center backs he has had at City as much as he did at Barca and Bayern

Italy use to be a slower pace game. you had time to play slow build up and teams hardly pressed the ball
In Spain teams didnt even bother against Barca at one point.
