Pass progression and chance creation. He shows well on the stats in those departments. Bear in mind that there will be much more complicated variants of these stats that data analysts get access to. There's obviously enough there for them (or perceived potential for it) for them to persist, irrespective of his flaws.

Sod stats, hes not offered sod all. He ruins our play. hes an inside attacker and he plays there. even though we have Salah.
I don't care for sentiment..Keita needs to start if he doesnt.. just get rid of him. one way or another

But do you remember that moment in the game?
No. Just wasn't sure if you were referring to the last game.
Also I'm watching a lot less football.
    Various reasons.
But probably not to get wound up and depressed.
    I only watch Liverpool.
Even that I missed the Leicester game and watched from 60mins+ v Brentford.
I was reading the bbc comments and thought it sounded like a horror show of a performance.

We've been mostly spoilt under klopp.
The season of the injured centre backs apart, but even that season had a magical ending.

In the league mostly 90+ points a season.
    Never been seen before.
    1988 , forget, 90 points .
Then Chelsea 2005 95 points for them.
Then in last few seasons Liverpool getting 90+ points was it 3 or 4 times.
    Remarkable.
Liverpool have mostly been unbelievable in the league and champions league.
Plus the near quadruple just last season.

Klopp has brought us so much joy.
Anyone asking him or even slightly doubting him , IS NOT a Liverpool supporter.

The owners I also have sympathy because they are competing against another club that has insane amount of money.
Just on City defence over the last few years probably out spends Liverpool total spending.

    As I say , we've been spoilt.
Time to back klopp and the team through a difficult season.

Elliot and Thiago offer us nothing defensively

I still believe we can get a top four finish.
Might be a nightmare season, but if we had been offered having to go through this season in 2015 after having won every club trophy there is to win, we would all take it.
And I do believe that most of our team is still high quality, just need a new midfield, and a new reboot of the press we used to have.

Thiago offers a bit defensively and was a one man midfield against Leicester but yeah certainly doesn't offer what Gini did defensively. It's OK playing one of them but having Thiago and Elliott in a 3 gives our midfield more holes than Swiss cheese

We go to confident Brighton after the FA Cup. Play Elliott and Thiago and expect another pasting. Man Utd & Newcastle are in top form so slip ups now will be very costly

No new midfielders, no top four. Forget it.

Pretty much. But even if we did we'll still struggle to catch up as we can't seem to break teams down. Kind if toothless. Maybe Gakpo will help to solve that issue.
