Thread: Your team v Wolves (FA Cup, 3rd Round, replay)

The wide front players have to be lightening quick, with eye for goals.
That's Darwin salah Diaz. Less pace with gakpo Bobby and jota.
    Doak has pace and goals.

    Kelleher

    Gomez Phillips Konate Tsimikas

    Henderson Bajcetic (if available) Jones

    Salah .... Gakpo .... Doak

I suspect Jurgen will go strong though.
As said , the only real chance of silverware.
But even that chance seems impossible.

    I hope so.

I think we're trying to protect him a bit in case we have more injuries. I can see him getting either the first 60 or the last 30 against Real Madrid for example if he is still fit at the time and I think he will feature against Chelsea to give a bit of energy, so it's a fine balance managing his minutes just now.

He must be wanting to impress. Who in their right mind would take him on anything close to his current wages? He has to feature v Chelsea you'd think.

    Seriously
Would you give oxlade or keita a 5 year contract above £120k a week ? Or even above £100k or £80k lol . No way.

Absolutely not, but he is playing for his next salary now. So you would expect some effort at least. Like he gives for his country.

    Team to face Wolves

Liverpool: Kelleher; Milner, Gomez, Konate, Tsimikas; Bajcetic, Keita, Thiago; Elliott, Carvalho, Gakpo

Substitutes: Alisson, Matip, Phillips, Robertson, Fabinho, Jones, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah,

    —————————————————

So - no Mo… Gomez at CB (I know)

Thiago being run into the ground it seems. Trying to do the job of 2 players and still never gets a rest. A bit crazy imo

I am largely happy with that team.

Echo your concerns about Thiago. Really hope he is given one half of football - 60 minutes maximum.

Of all the players to utilise over and over, Thiago is low on the list.

Not sure if I want us to be smashed by brighton again.
Brighton would be the perfect opponents for our mentality monsters to prove something. Or prove the exact opposite. Whatever
