I only realised recently that in fact we couldn't sign Nunes in this window because he has already played for two teams this season, so earliest would be in the summer.

We defended really well all half, they didn’t have a single effort on target.
Back to basics, playing short passes and moving into space. Much more energy than in recent games, can we do it for 90 minutes?

    We’re about to find out.

    Paul Ince Classic.

God love him. “Away from the wife”. Hahaaa, it’s been a while since I heard a proper old school joke like that from a pundit

This is the crux you feel. 45 minutes to see if old ways make a return. If we can just stay focussed and continue at that level, it’s something we can build on going into the Chelsea game. We can’t lose that

Nunes and Samedo on for them.

We’ve played better than recently and played some clever passing in midfield and crucially not giving it away easily allowing them to smash through our midfield. The pressing and pressure on the ball highlights Hendos and fabs physical decline. Bajcetic looks accomplished in that midfield.

Still it won’t surprise me to see this completely flip on its head in second half but hopefully we can keep it up.
