Does anyone play without inverted wingers these days? I remember games in the past where it was all too narrow and would have liked to see Mané and Salah switch sides to try and pull the opposition defence wider. You very rarely see it in football as a whole these days

Not much to lose in experimenting when you look at our recent league performances.
Elliott would probably do best at 10 than out wide where he lacks a bit of pace, while Trent has been so derelict in his defensive duties, he’s a luxury I don’t think we can afford right now against a team who will genuinely fancy their chances against us.

I'd rather have Carvalho as a number 10 but he's barely had a look in. Might as well loan him back to Fulham next season so at least he gets some minutes
