They are doing things we have struggled to do against sides that sit that deep. They just overwhelmed United with relentless pressure
Nobody can argue with what they are doing. It’s really not good for us though. Not with Newcastle too. We are under the very real threat of being frozen out for a long long time

The defence will function better with an improved midfield protecting it.
The attack will function better with an improved midfield feeding it.
Sort the midfield out. We don't need to rip up our defence - not yet.
An excellent result for us today. Both Man United and Newcastle have now played 20 League games to our 19 - I am not banking on any results from us right now, but IF we can win our game in hand it's a 7-point gap (a 3-game swing) rather than a 10-point gap.
A welcome boost to our chances, however small it may be.
I still can’t believe the transformation in Arsenal.
I bet you can squeal like a pig!
Well interesting listening to Fabregas talk about how Arteta has changed everything at the club.
It will be interesting to see how long they maintain the momentum.
They're doing a brilliant job. I'll take nothing away from that. I don't think an 8-point gap over Man City is (yet) enough - we know Man City can win 12+ games in a row. If they can get a larger points gap soon (12-14?) then they should have it.
They've had no injuries. Klopp was cock on when he said take 4 or 5 out of their side and they wouldn't be where they are.
Our lads haven't suddenly turned to shit, they're all excellent footballers. But they have to earn it, when things aren't going their way.
The parallels between this season and the 20/21 are scary. Injuries, effort, lack of running, bad defending etc..
We'll be back in the mix. I'm sure of it.
But we absolutely do need an injection of more energy from the middle of the park.
