I think having to visit us and City is going to make the difference. Their recent record is awful at Anfield and the Etihad. Plus if they go far in the knockouts of the EL.
Part of me will laugh if City miss out on the PL and CL this season with Haaland breaking goalscoring records. In a way it's a transition season with Guardiola, losing Sterling and Jesus to make way for the Norwegian robot. Difference is with their budget and squad investment it means they'll finish 2nd at lowest. We have a transition year at present and it's a stretch to get top 4. Plus our injury list seems to outdo all other challengers.
