It's such a shame that we couldn't force an extra opportunity or two in the 4-4 and that Lampard managed that goal - we were so close that night and it would have been a game for the ages.

Wrong result of course but overall a wonderful watch. We did not know when we were beaten at that time. European football under Rafa from 04/05 to 08/09 yield a lot of my absolute favourite footballing memories despite the relative lack of silverware.

think we'll do ok, chelsea have had a lot of changes (again) so in the same boat.

Chelsea have improved a lot during pre-season but their defence hasn't looked the best
