They did the same with a late winner against Utd last season. Doesn't mean they'll have cracked doing it against the real contenders for the title and top 4. As I recall VAR decisions helped them beat us at the Emirates last season. They barely managed a point away to any of the final top 6. Just watched the highlights of Crystal Palace U18 v Liverpool U18 in the Youth Cup.
The final score was Palace 6-1 Liverpool
But that doesn’t tell the whole story, Liverpool were much worse than the score suggests.
It was as if Liverpool couldn’t be bothered to take a team down there and just asked the first 11 kids under 18 the saw in the vicinity of Palace’s training ground, did they fancy a game.
Seriously they were that bad.
In better news the U21’s only lost 4-1 at home to Boro.
