Honestly feel that by the time we arrive at that match we will be a bit stretched/spent so am not expecting a huge amount - think it falls just a bit too soon on the calendar in terms of getting some of our key lads back - but it's a problem for another day - just want to beat Bournemouth as Man City have "easy" games ahead, so any pressure we can apply is much-needed.Originally Posted by justme

On the contrary, I expect a win an awful lot of the time, but football being football and with good sides typically having win rates of around 55-65% it's normal to not expect to win every match, as we simply won't - not even close (besides exceptional seasons) - that does not speak to a lack of ambition or lack desire to win whatsoever - merely an acceptance of the fact that points have a habit of being dropped somewhere.
Perhaps the fact that I sometimes articulate when I am not as confident of a result sticks out to you.
Will absolutely expect 100% effort from our lads and 100% effort often yields results. We very well may win that game, but it's one I am less confident on given the timing, the injury list and the surrounding fixtures. My desire to win the match will be enormous, mind.
