For me our squad is much stronger than last seasons. The Midfield has been turned over and some of those who departed needed to leave, others left on better terms - wouldn't have minded Fab or Hendo hanging on another year. Both capable 6s - an area of ours cited for weakenss and Rodri roundly rated no1 as 6.

City are about a strong as last season, arguably a bit weaker. But it's early doors in the season.
Whilst City have outspent us, I really don't see that much of a gap between the squads. The obvious player to take from city Rodri.

Spending aside, I think Pep has adapted his setup to his squad better in recent times than Klopp.

For me Klopp has a few things to sort out within our squad and setup. He's got the tools at his disposal to win another PL title as I see it.
