Match Thread : Crystal Palace v Liverpool

    Liverpool XI v Palace

    Alisson

    TAA Quansah Van Dijk, Tsimikas

    Szoboszlai Endo Gravenberch

    Salah Nunez Diaz

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Konate, Jones, Gakpo, Elliott, Doak, McConnell, Bradley.

    Happy with that 11.

Konate on the bench, has he picked up a laddered sock from playing so many consecutive games?
Quite happy with Quansah but not seen him on the right before, hopefully Virgil will talk him through it.

Quansah ahead of Konate? Big test for him, I think Palace will target him. Hopefully a less lethargic and more motivated Liverpool show up today.

I understand Klopp being cautious with Konate due to his injury record and not wanting to start him in consecutive matches with a quick turnaround. Quansah starting seems like Klopp rates him over Gomez in the middle

Quansah has been consistently good in every game. (Have I jinxed him for today?)
Don't recall seeing him as a right side centre back though.
I think he will be well served having Endo in front of him, rather than Macca, who of course should be playing further up anyway.

I doubt we'd of seen Quansah playing if Kelleher was in goals.

Today's all about our attitude, get that right and Ibthink 1-3 is a good shout, but get it wrong and we are going to see another slugfest …

Great opportunity to go top andd keep Arsenal/ City on their toes…

First thing of note in the opening exchanges, the biggest danger today will come from dead ball situations so stop giving free kicks when there is absolutely no danger whatsoever ffs.

Tsimikas once again is giving me palpitations with his decision making, lack of control, distribution and tackling… ffs he does my head in ..
