We're talking semantics here - "awful" for me is a side being absolutely all over you and everyone looking like they would rather be anywhere else.

We certainly haven't been GOOD - we've been WELL below par - but I think some element of credit has to go to the stern defence that Palace have put up as well.

Don't see us getting anything from this - need a blistering last 20 minutes even to get a draw at this rate.

If we win the league which is a small if it will be cause other teams were inconsistent. This group is not ready, mature perhaps that good either. They dont have attacking flair finishing, match control. Too sloppy. It is definitely a build far from done. Palace performance today not a good side. Same with Luton, Bournemouth, Sheffield, Everton. All bottom feeders and we struggled against all those.
