Remember Diaz's agent agreed terms with Tottenham and then leaked the details to us for us to match it?

Same again with Amorim and West Ham.

Do think we probably chatted to Amorim in some capacity, he's expressed desire to mould us to 3-4-3 and Edwards etc have decided on getting a closer philosophical/stylistic fit but who knows - will enjoy all the silly stories afterwards.

If he’s as good as he and Edwards think he is, then all good.

And now - after wanting Alonso and being prepared to settle for Amorim…. I find myself hoping that Zebedee bounces in from the south coast.

Probably the best option we can realistically get now. It looks like few really want the job. Probably want x y and z assurances because they suspect (if it wasn’t obvious) that Jurgen has been carrying the club.
