However, you can only assume it has to be his lack of reaction to the contact that has given VAR the difficult dilemma, so i guess the line “its not a clear and obvious error “ by the Ref has gone in our favour today… very lucky tbh…

We got out of jail today thats for sure….
Oh yes wed defo got away with one there.

On another note.. I am left wondering where the posters applauding Elliott's game changing substitution are at?

I said i'm glad we got Gakpo and elliot on the bench its like Foden and Silva!

    what more do you want

    100% not sarcastic

At least we've got Gakpo&Elliot on the bench

    They'll fix it.

Basically like bringing foden and silva on.

Elliot did well, but it's like they forgot he was on the pitch- great defending.

Young Harvey was superb when he came on and was a step above .
Not a vintage performance but its all about the 3 points.

Have we actually had that many games this season when we have had "vintage performances"

It's like half the games we don't turn up until after HT I don't get it.

Mad we're top of the league really.

Elliott is a strange one, when he is good he is very good but when he is so ineffective..

He seems to be a bit of a Super sub tbh atmo, for me he is definitely not as effective when he starts a game when compared to when he comes on late in the game…maybe he lacks the physical explosive power required from the off, but coming on late on when play has dropped a level maybe benefits him…

good to see all three forwards score. if we can keep that up for the next 14 games we have a chance in the league.

    Never a free kick

I was praising Elliott in the match thread his best ever performance for us by a distance the trouble is, whenever he gets a start he’s back to shitter Elliott
