    Your team v Luton

After a banana skin away game, you want a Home match to follow.

Thankfully we have that in Luton Town and whilst it could be argued that they took are a potential banana skin of a game, one would hope that the power of Anfield should be enough.

The squad is plagued with injuries, so a number of lads pick themselves. Another question is whether or not you would put out the line-up you want to see against Chelsea, or whether you give thought to rotation with our admittedly depleted options.

I am assuming that Núñez will be fit and that Jota won't be. Other big absentees are Alisson, Trent, Szoboszlai, Jones.

    .........................Kelleher

    Bradley.....Konate....Van Dijk.... Robertson

    ..........................Endo

    ..........Mac Allister........Gravenberch

    .......Salah.........Núñez........Diaz

Another win would be massive - we need to keep within touching distance of a Man City side that will likely beat Chelsea, whilst keeping a determined Arsenal side honest.

After that we will have a nice high-stakes distraction of a League Cup Final.

    Come on Reds!

    Who's left?

Think there will be a calculated risk of rotation with an eye on Sunday.

    Kelleher
    Bradley
    Konate
    Quansah
    Robbo
    Endo
    Elliott
    Gravenberch
    Diaz
    Gakpo
    Salah

With a mind for the final (assuming no more injuries...)

    Kelleher
    Bradley
    Konate
    VVD
    Gomez
    Endo
    Mac
    Elliott
    Diaz
    Nunez
    Salah

Make a bit more use of Gomez, Gakpo, McConnell, Tsimikas, Quansah, Elliott.

Fib and tell them they're playing for a place in the final.

Agreed, I think most of those you listed will play.
Robbo just back from injury, as is tsimi. So give robbo a rest and tsimi some minutes.
Gakpo needs a start. So starts in place of nunez?

    Quansah starts at CB.
    Gomez at right back.

I think the main issue is the middle. We so t have a lot of options.

A midfield of endo, elliot and grav does not look good even against Luton at home. So I'm expecting endo and macca to start with probably elliot.

Think we need to go strong, get 2 or 3 in front then rest those we want to protect.

We almost lost at their place by thinking we just turn up and take the points.

    Kelleher
    Bradley
    Quansah
    Van Dijk
    Robertson
    Endo
    Grav
    Macca
    Diaz
    Gakpo
    Elliot

This should get the pts. Ease Salah back. Nunez if there was something he felt then rest him completely. Also tempted to not start Macca, but that would have been possible if Jones was fit.

Really like this approach overall, with the small caveat of being unsure about a "two" of Elliott and Gravenberch ahead of Endo.

Everton's draw against Crystal Palace has put Luton in the relegation zone.

Hope the game doesn't get too physical as we really need to avoid further injuries.
