    Rarely ends well.
Fair point - though no opposition we will face this season besides perhaps Man City in the League or Bayern Leverkusen in the Champion's League will have anything like that Real side's quality - have to trust what we have.

Just to pick up on this again - if we were to win that, then the quarter-final fixture would mean that our Everton game at Goodison gets pushed back to a later stage in the season.

Might not be the worst thing to face them later rather than sooner - less chance of them derailing us via injuries - hopefully.

Good point - but the risk to key players would be enough to make me bottle it totally - and play a youth team, but then I am no Jurgen Klopp.

Don't think there is any practical work-around with Dyche's lot unfortunately.

They score very few goals from open play and mainly rely on set pieces. Given that they would throw the tackles in while we're in possession, arguably the best thing we could do is let them have the ball as much as possible.

    Not worth dwelling on though.

    Chelsea
    Southampton
    Nottingham
    Sparta
    Man City
    Sparta

    - is about enough of a headache as it is

Poch is apparently demanding "fair" refereeing from the officials - following our demolition of the rent boys at Anfield.
What an absolute flicking cheek considering how we've been treated by the officials this season.
    And last season.
    And the season before that.
    And the season before that.

Interesting point. It may also be affected by Everton's appeal and what Dyche calls "delayed psychological scarring".

Despite doubts about their ability to play, both Salah and Núñez seemed cheerful at the training centre on Friday. In a video shared on Liverpool's social media accounts, Núñez was spotted having a chat with Alexis Mac Allister, his teammate.
Once he changed into his training gear, he was seen sharing a warm hug and talking with Jürgen Klopp. Later, he retweeted the photo of him at the training centre posted by the club. He also added a waving emoji as a reply.

    Fingers crossed…

    That's encouraging miller, cheers.

For me it's the degree of risk of re-injury. If they are all clear by medical then brilliant. If they are only cleared for 30 minutes say then it's risky - could bring them on in the 65th only for the game to go into extra-time.

Just can't end up seeing one or both of them miss ANOTHER month of football. As it's Chelsea and not Man City I'd just be placing faith in our other lads to step up and hoping for the best.

Such a shame Jota isn't available right now.
