Why did no other team..... ever want to buy henderson off us or try? world class was he? No.
VVD has put in some real captains performances, more than I ever seen henderson do, who was to busy arguing with team mates and shouting at them for his own mistakes and flaws.
Look at the difference in midfield when fit...... actually having QUALITY

Think you're confusing being a good player to being a captain. The two aren't correlated.
Just sounds like another reason to have a bash at Henderson.
Do you honestly think Klopp would have had him in the team for so long if he wasn't very good, or kept him captain?

he was only captain because he was here longer, so stayed...... would have been a bit harsh replacing him with VVD when he arrived

Henderson was excellent for us.. Not every season and not all the time, but he had good periods in his career with LFC.He was a good captain. Made the wrong call in going to Saudi Arabia. but he knows that now.

But he had run out of legs in his last season for us.

Midfield was the worst area for a good few years.... one has to think...... some more quality we'd be looking at more big wins.... remember salah firmino and mane was incredible, with the back 4 too..... but yes all because of world class hendo i guess
