Gakpo needs a bomb up his arse. A new manager is coming in the summer, he needs to do more but we've been saying this for a few weeks now.

Well not a bad half overplayed a bit if anything I always think we’re much better when we mix it up a bit and make the runs in behind and go really direct at times, the threat of it creates more time and space for your passing game

Because need necessitates Fomez is playing in midfield but as we all know he can be ponderous in possession and also you can see he has played defense his entire life, his way or style of running with the ball and direction or change of direction is that of a defender bringing it out of defense, so he can mostly pass in the angle/direction of his run. He is doing a job and it is not a criticism of his effort more of what he can and can't do in that position.

All things considered it was a bad half but not end of the world stuff.

Some tweaking needs to happen also away games where busses are parked you need your attackers to take that one chance you get. Sadly Diaz is not that type of finisher.

Not sure how many minutes Endo/Szoboslai and Nunez can give but it is clear those subs are going to be made.
