He’s played like his heart is not in it even with a title up for grabs He looked interested for 60 seconds today because he was angry & set off like we know he can then seemed to deliberately not play Nunez in

Something obviously really pissed Jurgen off to announce it as he did, I don’t think he’d have done that otherwise, it was a seriously pissed off for one time too many moment he decided he had to say it then because he’d had enough of whatever it was and didn’t want to change his mind

One thing Liverpool had under Klopp was the mentality monster. Unfortunately we now know that Klopp was lucky to have Mane Firmino Henderson Milner Wijnaldum Matip who had that character, that fight when the chips were down.
I don't recognise that character in lfc today

To be fair we've see similar drops in form even with those players.

And although we've come up short this season, this set of players have turned around a lot games to suggest there is enough fight in them.

Is this side as good as that 18/22 side? Definitely not. But for most of the new lads it's their first go at a run at the top of the game. Hopefully this experience holds them in good stead for future seasons.

Not all of them will step up, and it's important that we replace those that don't.

Maybe the mentality of the team is a reflection of the manager. Klopp looks a broken worn man. His team is reflecting that the last 6 weeks.

Very disappointed. I expected it of the usual suspects - it’s clear that some were always itching to twist the knife, but to see the response from certain posters who I had more faith in… Hmm shame

100%. The players have been magic. Those lambasting them are unable to deal with the reality. Flogged themselves from the start of the season - through the devastating news - the huge pressure to try and go win the lot for the man they love… Then the litany of injuries… Team after team of cobbled together starting 11’s - flush with kids making debuts in key games - on and on they went - clawing out results so often chasing a losing position.

They go and win the first cup of the season… Then keep pushing at the top of the league…. on and on… THEN the reward is a quarter final at Old Trafford and they should win - do everything right except score when needed… they literally run themselves into the ground.

Now the media start with their relentless and inevitable narrative. Klopps’s last this - and what if it peters out? Klopp’s last that.. blah blah - the manager starts to fade… The persona losing its power.. drip drip.. the players mentality and focus divided between focus on games and focus on their crumbling father…

Then they crumble too. And the knives come out.

    What a crying shame.

Neither of these results had anything to do with fatigue.

Ja Fur’shu’er - we looked so spritely, full of vim and vigor in extra time

We lost a winning position 3 times in 2 games and conceded 6 goals in 2 games.

We gifted them 2 goals in 13 minutes after half time in the league game.

Do you believe the half time break really left our lads shattered for the first 13 minutes of the second half. This is where fatigue manifests and that explains the goals conceded

Or that fatigue has led to us conceding first so regularly this season. Even in October as it was the year before in October.

    "14 October 2022
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has pointed to a tendency to conceded the first goal in games as a "concern".

Analysis by Nielsen Gracenote shows the Reds have conceded first in six of their eight matches this season. That means in every match in which Liverpool have conceded a goal at all, the opposition have scored first."

Only Sheffield United and Luton Town have conceded the first goal in a Premier League game more often than Liverpool this season, and it’s not a new phenomenon for Jürgen Klopp’s side either.

This trend has continued through the season.
