Re Quansah I think he’s an exceptional talent, just needs a bit of work on his front foot defending from Virgil & Ibou as he backs off at time when he should be meeting the player & at least forcing him where he wants him to go

My man Gravenberch had a very good game, great goal but he was a lot better in his pressing & positioning off others & played with more cut & thrust

Jota’s goal was brilliant typical Jota the slotter & it’s good he good back in the mark so quickly too

Jota shows how effective a striker must be he had 1 miss and 1 goal that is not a bad ratio. We really missed someone that when through on goal you know it is a goal.

Didn't confirm but apparently the ball took a slight nick off the defender before jotas shot.

Also I'm confident arsenal will drop more points...can't say the same for city.

It’s not even an assist in the true sense & the first ball is to open the play up & change the angle of attack not an attempted assist

I’ve seen you Steveo & others say several times over the years in match threads that something’s ‘not really an assist’, because it’s what the recipient does that’s outstanding that makes the goal having received a normal big standard ball in a position most players aren’t going to quickly get themselves half a yard & fire home a beautiful side footed drive

I used to comment on goals the individual made for themselves out of what in reality was nothing, not even a chance when they received it bigging up the player who passed it for their assist especially if it was someone you didn’t like Bobby Hendo Gini or someone like that, just so you would say how it wasn’t really an assist but then it was if it was Thiago in the same situation, although that did rarely ever happened
