We’ve let a lot of experience go, Hendo & Milner a captain & vice captain who’ve won the lot, Mane & Bobby who’ve won the lot

Many commented on Henderson’s absence particularly in the lack of tempo pressing quality & variation in games over the last couple of seasons & there were quite a few games he came on to turn a game around that was slipping away from us, not single-handedly but with his know how understanding of the system, positioning & influence on the other players

Looks like Arne’s in the Slot now so we can get back to what we did better than anyone else again next season, at times this season we’ve looked like a rabble even when winning, no shape, we tried to run before we could crawl with the new players & you can’t just skip steps that take a couple of seasons

Listen mate you keep singing that tune. I am sure there are plenty of others who think we miss a leader too but imo Hendo - the Hendo of the last few seasons in this squad - IF he got a game - and we are struggling for a top 4 berth. Milner..? Long since done,.. Certainly the midfield has stepped up at times this season with some much needed goals too,

We have suffered horrific injuries - on top of losing all the players you listed AND Fabinho too - who you fail to mention - Thiago also hasn’t featured either.. A virtually new midfield. The first season post Bobby and Mané and we still did far far better than last term.

Ultimately - HAD the front line not gone to pot so badly this last few weeks - beginning with that diabolical loss to Uniturd in the FA cup.. We probably would still be right in the mix for a title and a Europe league win
