Absolutely no idea how they are doing it.. ain't they suppose to be in trouble anyhow. didnt they admit to not going by the book when Roman was there? that seems to have gone quiet..

Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Nothing to do with the "published' £1.5 Billion write off by Roman.
They've just got the best financial data analytics experts on the planet - and have gamed a way to use longer term contracts to sign 30 players since Summer 2022. I am told they are working on a source of free energy too. Nobody else has smart enough accountants - they just can't work it out. Swiss Ramble's gone very quiet
In layman's terms...Think of it like the Nord Stream pipeline destruction.. Seems the media cannot fathom what took place.
Yeah, was thinking the same. Everyone I've talked haven't a clue either how they are able to spend.
They sell assets to themselves.
I think they have sold their women's team to themselves and maybe a hotel as well.
They also have long contracts so fees will be amortised - a £70m buy will be £10m-per-season for 7 seasons rather than a £70m lump sum as an example.
Then they will somewhat offset amortised pay-outs with sales from their Academy, which is a pretty good one - I think Gallagher, Maatsen, Hall and Hutchinson have all been sold this Summer for example.
Excess players can be loaned out and those that do well can be sold upon return.
I don't think it will be a particularly successful strategy as they will struggle to get squad cohesion, but perhaps they'll prove me wrong.
I think they have seven senior goalies on their books right now. The twazzocks.
Apart from questions about how they can spend so much how do they think that buying 30 players in a year is a good way to build a team?
For context....

Chelsea and City just do what they want, completely ignoring the rules of the competition, which they both agreed to at the outset, which every other team adheres to.
