We should all now just contribute to the 23/24 version for a laugh.

Rooney ready for 'special' first game with Plymouth

Wayne Rooney is ready to reassert his managerial credentials as Plymouth Argyle begin their Championship campaign against Sheffield Wednesday, live on Sky Sports.

    ......... 3 hours later

    Special 4-0 loss.

Big part of sending biirmingham down Plymouth next

how does he keep getting jobs?

Just saw that scoreline and asked myself the same question. Harry Kewell is another that keeps getting jobs and swiftly loses them.

Would anyone in here even mention Plymouth Argyle unless the Roonmeister was there?

Watched Real a number of times and I still do not know why we are sniffing round Rodrygo and considering £100m bids for him. I see nothing more than an average forward displaying flashes of above average.

Is it because he’s Brazilian and in the Real squad?

Wearing the iconic no. 10 shirt for Brazil as well at the moment if I recall correctly? Stuff like that SHOULDN'T impact how we view players, but it does.

Think he has scored 50-55 goals for Real Madrid in 210-220 appearances for them.

1-in-4 goal return then essentially (in his defence I have no idea what his minutes-per-goal is which can change the picture) and he is....23 (?)......I think he is "good" (obviously) but the thought of us spending £100m for him is a bit of an "...eeeeesh" - very much a "no thank you" for me.
