Even if they get found guilty they won't be punished in any kind of significant, or long lasting way. The British Government has already admitted that some of their representatives have had talks with their UAE counterparts regarding the charges and any potential punishments.
A member of the Government possibly as high ranking as it gets had words in the PL's ear when it came to the proposed Saudi takeover of Newcastle.
