We can thank our CF for making that far more difficult than it needed to be. Missed two absolute sitters, didn’t even get either on target.

Worrying to see Alisson limp away, hopefully nothing serious and he can be back after the International break.

Anyway, 3 points away after a Champions League midweek victory and those clean sheets we’re racking up are very encouraging.

There's nothing wrong with a 1-0 win away from home and soaking up a bit of pressure. The top teams have to do that all the time. I don't get this idea that we should be blowing every team away and in party mode from the 20 minute mark. PL games are difficult.

Who said anything about blowing these teams away, certainly not me, but all i ask is that our players maintain a level of performance, concentration level and control, that befits their talents…unfortunately far too often when we start well and dominate, we then have a tendency to drop our levels and sleep walk our way into a difficult game, by several players simply dropping their concentration levels and getting far too casual with their play. Fine margins and all that..

It drives me nuts and there is no need for it… especially if you seriously want to win things.
