Just for the resident WUM - changing the narrative from Slot is "doing a better job" which includes everything I mentioned - inheriting a "Bang average squad" changing the mentality - team building - managing the entire club and dragging a side from 6th place and 62 points - (2 more than Southampton and 6 more than Swansea Fecking City) to the very top of the tree while losing your most creative player - to Slot is "doing better than last season".

This is perhaps why so few want to engage with such clownish nonsense.

We are 13 games into a 38 games season - are we not jumping the gun a little? Slot has 'slotted' in perfectly. Relatively speaking (compared to Jurgen), he hasn't had that much to do but allow the continuity flow of a team that was in the hunt for a Quad until April 2024. He walked into a settled club and team that would have been Jurgens to go win the big prizes with BUT for his inability to continue.

On United - well there is so many places that can be highlighted but for a kick off - the serially injured Vidic had already said he was leaving.. Rio was washed up at 34 and Evra at 32 was looking more like Julian Dicks than the superb player he had once been. This is before we touch on calling Scholes out of retirement the year before - as if that wasn't a plaster on a broken leg... and leaving a nigh on 40 year old Giggs as the best of the rest for Moyes.. Get off it.. Fergie left United in an absolute state. Arguably in a worse state and less well future proofed than us when Kenny (understandably)quit in 1991.

Mo Salah - Sign him up..!

Ornstein saying the offer for Virgil is short of what he's expecting.

Just WTF are you talking about? What else would I be comparing Slot with, if not last season with the same team?

Most can understand that Slot is doing well so far without calling it out in every post. If it makes you feel better then yes, lots of caveats around Slot only being here a few months and has won nothing yet. That should be obvious but perhaps you're just used to replying to Dumbo and the like.

For all their issues, Utd pissed the league. Explain that. Another miracle, this time by Ferguson?

Your slogan reminds me of another one, MAGA. Why do I get the feeling I'm talking to one of those idiots?

Go and argue with your fellow fans on the United forum who all know full well the state Ferguson left them in.

Then IF you still have the fight for it.. come back and explain how calling back a retired 37 year old Paul Scholes in 2012 works when you then add on top ZERO succession planning for Vidic who had announced he was off - OR Rio OR Giggs..

    Should be fun

Fergie's last season and 79 points would have won it - so many clubs in transition and them with MR Premier League himself at the helm. They won it by 11 points - but even at the time were called out for living on their aura and Van Persie's goals.. 3 teams in that top 4 were comfortably superior but drew far too many games. Fergie's last hurrah was a crazy season and his men knew how to grind out the results.

But Klopp's new midfield and a bunch of kids took 82 points despite more than 11 seniors missing through injury at a crucial parts of the season.

The comparison is entirely bogus - just like the twit who has made it.

Leicester City won the title by 10 points in 2015/16 and were in far better shape than Fergies United..

So a team that walked the league by 10 points was all washed up. Cool story bro.

Pick another example if you like. You mentioned Leicester. What Ranieri did was much closer to a "miracle" than anyone else. How did they fare after he left?

And really, what has any of that got to do with Salah, VVD and TAA contracts?

I said Rio "Rio was washed up at 34 ".. I didn't say United were - I suggested that they were in a worse situation than the one we were in after Kenny left. It's there above - you even quoted it..

Surely you can do better than that..

Ranieri did Fantastic at Leicester - it was a miraculous season even if 81 points was all it took to win by 10. I don't think anyone out their would even try to dispute that.

Just for the record - on Ferguson and his last team... you are arguing against a consensus among United fans.
My take is it was deliberate but - due to his megalomania but that is just me..

I didn't pick the example either - you're too funny.....You brought them into this in an attempt to try and equate Moyes's scenario with Slot's at Anfield. The fact is they are totally different.

Fergie had built another team after announcing he would retire in 2001 something he called "The biggest mistake I made" but this time a decade later he didn't plan. This time he rinsed every last bit out of a team that had run through brick walls for him. The younger players he did bring in were not of the same quality.. and he left them in need of another Ferguson mark 2 or a Klopp BUT he had the pick - and he went for Gollum.. WOOHOOO Good luck with that.

Victor is so transparent that everybody already knows the answer.

If Slot does well this year, it's all down to Klopp's genius.

If Slot fails to win anything, it's all down to FSG.

He could have just written F$G OUT and saved us all the bother.

    Pathetic.
