I did go on about Grav being an option in a double pivot, 19 opposed that suggestion vehemently. Both suggestions seem to have been part of Slots approach

Morton has always impressed me though he lacks some physical gifts. Hope to see more of him in the lesser games. Maybe he'll turn out to be another unearthed gem.
Ah the "post miracle worker era".... I see. You've made that leap have you wee John Jnr. Klopp was just another manager right. Didn't build a thing.. And besides..anyone can steer this ship ...right..?

Ok pal.. Whatever. One day I swear - even you might finally wake up.

even the fixtures favour Arsenal and Chelsea. they get an extra days rest, more than their opponents. I expect that to be the case later in the season.. we'll be forced to play more often over a shorter period of time. then have a larger break between some matches

Once again LFC fans here moaning about refs, we don't want handballs given like that.... I see some decisons went for us too. 3v1 that's a goal right at the end that is.

Imagine if we was on the counter at the end, outnumbering newcastles defense... then whistle blown when some time should have been added to the extra time too

    Such a fix yee

Allison too, obviously i doubt 3rd would have happened

Yep, for some reason it's a crime to say we could do with a new CB on here of quality

Looked very dodgy at the back

I don't venerate others as you do. I've said on multiple occasions I only consider 1 Klopp season a fail season. His 2nd last one. Other than that a great job.
Your Miracle worker tagline for Klopp seems a little misguided. You're very sensitive to critcism, including of Klopp, unless you are dishing it out.
You've belittled the squads quality consistently and now see what a little freshness under a new manager can do.

I don't like to bash the defensive side of Trent's game because it's nowhere near as bad as some make out but he's at fault for their late equaliser as much as Kelleher. He's let his man run right past him.

It was a poor performance all round from the lads. I'm putting it down to playing two very intensive games, where we've gone flat out against two of the best teams on the planet. I think it was just one game too far.

Having the derby at the weekend isn't helping either.

The squad quality was never quite at the technical level of its achievements. This is backed up by the performance levels of players before they arrived and after they left.

Our best squad wasn't even the best domestically - (Klopp's words not mine) let alone on the global stage - yet it did incredibly well and made 3 CL finals and almost won 3 League titles up against Pep and in almost 9 years from a "bang average" start with a relatively low net spend. Good luck with that.

I know you and some others think it's as simple as the quality of the players you have - it 100% categorically - is not. One day CCTV - one day you will see. Until then, keep understanding the game in numbers.

    As for this pearl:

Anyone who equates our situation with this is either living in a bubble or being totally disingenuous. This is why I mostly choose to ignore your musings on the game.
