Liverpool are keeping tabs on Brighton's Carlos Baleba before a potential summer move for the 21-year-old defensive midfielder from Cameroon. (Football Insider), external
Very similar to Grav from the few games I've seen of him. I like the look of him. A bit raw but plent to work with.
Something, Something, Something, Dark Side
Mirror today saying that Isak's representatives have contacted Liverpool about a potential move.
If Newcastle are stuck on £150m we should pass. His record of nightly injuries alone would suggest he ain’t worth that.
Plus, we need several players not just one.
LB, CB, DM, RWF and to replace a CF. We may also have to replace a LWF if Diaz goes. That’s a lot of comings and goings on one window
As if FSG would go anywhere near 150m anyway but I'd agree with you. Cracking player but his injuries are an issue.
Mateta or Cunha would be half the price and would both be excellent additions.
Niggley injuries that was, not nightly … bloody phone 🙄
he gets then in night matches sometimes so you are right as well
anyway
Liverpool are lining up a £40m move for Bournemouth's 21-year-old Hungary left-back Milos Kerkez. (Telegraph - subscription required)
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Yeah £150m would be a huge commitment on one player. Would far rather spread any transfer funds out across the side as there are a couple of areas needing elevated in their quality and depth.
It's a mad market. If we are doing any refreshing of the forward line then there will be departures. Salah is a unique beast, so if age is an area that we look at, you'd think that one of Jota or Diaz could be departing at some point, though I appreciate many fans would rather sell someone like Núñez.
I'd be curious what our price tag would be on our forward lads.
