Just seen a stat online, apparently Jota,Diaz and Nunez have scored just 3 goals between them in the last 41 appearances combined.
Absolutely fucking wow. And not in a good way.

I wouldn't believe a word he says. King of the transfer bullshitters.

My gut instinct is that he will go to Arsenal. He is a really good striker, but he seems to get injured a lot.
Think we might be getting Alvarez actually. Is he great? I'm not sure. Maybe.

Here's a look at attacking stats, with penalties noted and to be deducted for goals/assists per minute this season all comps.
    To assess open play contributions.

    Salah 32 goals & 22 assists in 3,696 minutes.
    11 penalties.
Goal or assist per 86 minutes

*Salah still top as expected when penalties are removed. He gets more chances by XG than everyone else. Something Núńez had a lot more of last season for example. Whereas Salahs share of XG is up this year.

    Diaz 13 goals & 5 assists in 2,785 minutes
Goal or assist per 155 minutes

    Gakpo 16 goals & 5 assists in 2,169 minutes. 1 penalty.
Goal or assist per 108.5 minutes

    Nunez 7 goals & 7 assists in 1,882 minutes.
Goal or assist per 134.5 minutes

    Jota 8 goals & 3 assist in 1,481 minutes
Goal or assist per 134.6 minutes

Elliott 4 goals & 2 assists in 583 minutes all comps.
Goal or assist per 97 minutes.

Chiesa 2 goals & 1 assist in 387 minutes all comps.
Goal or assist per 129 minutes.

Isak is perfect for the Premier league, but Alvarez is pure class even at the highest level.. Different gear as a player

Here's Darwin last season and Isak this season

    Isak this year
    23 goals & 5 assists in 2,613 minutes
    3 penalties
Goal or assist per 93.3 minutes including penalties
Or per 104.5 minutes excluding penalties

    Darwin last year
    18 goals & 13 assists in 3,026 minutes
    1 penalty
Goal or assist per 97.6 minutes including penalties.
Or per 100.8 minutes excluding penalties

Agree with uou there , there are not many about as good as those pair. Suarez was absolutely out of this world , a complete tour de force of a player

Pearces latest tweet would suggest that we can forget about players like Isak or Alvarez.
Read a piece by David Lynch saying that as much as the club like Alvarez he's not getting any vibes they would go for him and any deal would be very difficult because he's playing well and only been there a year.

I'll be honest, when I saw the rumour (Alvarez) first pop up on here, I was thinking the same thing. He's only just moved.

Nunez has been linked, maybe used as a make weight but I still don't see it unless Alvarez absolutely wanted the move. Just seems unlikely to me too.
I'd be made up if they did sign him. Absolutely mint player, god knows what City were thinking letting him go.
