    Alisson Becker!

Just how good as Alisson been since he came back from his last injury? I'd admit i thought he was starting to wain a little. it often happens to players who have been at a club a long time. But he's been unbelievably good. back to the form he had at the start of his career with us.
I hope he stays for many years too come..His form has taken us very close to the league. saved our bacon in a last few games.

It's mad to think that when we signed Virgil,Alisson and Salah nobody had any idea they'd go on to be three of the best players the prem has ever seen.

You're only as good as your last game and I don't know what he was doing for Southampton's goal.

Decent enough shot stopper, just a shame he can never play 38 games a season*.

    * except for his first season with us

Both are total legends to the highest degree, adored, that said, if we're going on recent games, the Alisson masterclass v PSG & both Virgil 1st & Alisson 2nd marked with errors leading to a goal conceded in a 3-1 win v Southampton, then Virgils keeping a clean sheet and providing at least 1 goal contribution minimum tomorrow night

Reportedly possible concussion on duty with Brazil, but hopefully fully OK for our next league game.

Here’s one that highlights what an amazing keeper he is…

Alisson Becker faced Barcelona twice at home in successive seasons…. firstly in the CL Quarter final second leg - as Roma keeper in 2018 and a year later as Liverpool keeper in 2019’s semi final second leg …. A combined score v Messi - Suarez - Iniesta - Busquets…Barca of 7:0… A 3:0 win in Rome and a 4:0 win in Liverpool. Not a goal conceded…

When you see the games - and the saves… You realise what we signed.
