Thread: Alisson Becker!

How long has Alison got left on his current deal and are we at the point that a new deal needs to be considered, to avoid another The Three Amigos scenario…. or was the new signing last year a nod to the fact no new deal is even being considered let alone on the cards…

Saying that I so do not want to lose the brilliant Kelleher, I think he should be the heir apparent rather than our new signing, but hey ho wtf do I know..

Think it's konate and robertson next leaving on a free and Kelleher but I assume we'll sell him for a underwhelming amount after letting his contract run down too.

Apart from that we don't have to worry till season after.

about 7-8 players in 2027 some won't be some will get extended some will leave on a free no doubt

Probably Luis Díaz to barca Allison.... and Jota...

I think he is signed up for 25/26 and 26/27, at which point he would be leaving (unless he agrees another renewal) and possibly heading to International as (I think?) he talked about wanting to play in Brazil again at some stage of his career.

I don't foresee Mamardashvili wanting to be a second-choice player forever and I think he will have been signed with a view to "replacing" (for want of a much better word!!!) by the time we are getting into the 27/28 season.

Where would we be without him? And we would be without him but for the crazy fee Barca payed for Coutinho,

Something not lost on Klopp and likely Trent.

Said it at the time when we announced Virgil as captain & Trent as vice captain, that it was strange that Ali was overlooked.

Coutinho was sold for €135 mill in the end and he was valued at €90 mill.

It was only a crazy fee at that time due to the inflated fees. Neymars €222 buy out clause was never expected to be met. Then psg met it. Players like Isco had €500-700 buy out clauses in their next contracts.

Klopp laughed at the pogba fee, he then brought in 2 world record fees for GK & CB in Alisson & VVD.
He also saw plenty of players run down contracts.
He did see Bobby (Saudi), Mane (Bayern & Saudi) & Salah all sign contracts for wages, few ever expected FSG to pay. Only Salah got paid that level of wage at LFC from our front 3

Its funny watching fans bemoan owners greed at every turn, including ticket prices and capacity. Yet 50-70% of every pound the club gets goes to wages.

Trents valued at €75 million. I'd have sold him last summer, and posted same then. Well if it's not been yeeted in the great lfconline purge.
