Unfortunately, we genuinely look like we are running on empty… again… like I said in a previous post, the timing of our recent wobble is a real concern..
And so it came to pass….

We were actually worse than I expected tbh, we got bullied all over the park today very reminiscent of the Everton game last season…. I thought the Ref was similarly generous to Newcastle like in the Everton game of last season… but unfortunately whilst we are clearly a very technical side, we are very lightweight on the physicality side of the game…

Unfortunately, we fall in to the trap of trying to compete physically, rather than playing to our strengths and out playing the opposition…. Trust me if Real Madrid had played against Newcastle yesterday, they would have been much more street savvy and simply taken the piss with their passing…

Hey ho, hopefully Arne learned a lot from yesterday and he can use that knowledge going forward and make our players aware of their glaring achilles heel… and take it into consideration during his summer rebuild…

Hopefully all our players put this recent run of form behind them, come back from the International break free of injury, refreshed and up for the fight in the next 9 league games… closing off the Race for the Title in the process.. 🤞😎

Fair play to Newcastle, to win this trophy they had to get past Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, the current top four.
