Speaking of which, I didn't realize that Millie Bobbie Brown was a Reds supporter.

I saw the 'Inside' videos that the club puts out, for the Tottenham match, that she made an appearance at the game.

It was kind of a pleasant surprise.
It's always nice when you find out an actor or actress you like supports the club when they ought not have a reason to (based on where they come from. Her family is from the south I think.....or at least they lived in Bournemouth before her Hollywood career took off post-Stranger Things).

I loved/love her in Stranger Things.
I gather she's been a supporter since her childhood through her elder brother and her father who are both avid LFC fans.

She gave an interview to the club website not that long after Stranger Things became a hit and she put it like, she didn't really have much of an option (but to be a Liverpool fan. It seems her father and brother are really massive fans), and now she even does the whole waking up at 3 or 4am to watch games
(She lives in the US since she married her beau Jake Bongiovi,...son of Jon).

She was at the game with Owen Cooper (Adolescence star,.... also a reds fan, from Warrington).

Would be a ridiculously good acquisition that - he would lift the likes of Man City or Barcelona - if we had him as one of our midfield options it would be pretty ridiculous.

    he's that good?

is it bad i've never heard of him ? but 24, not very widely known unless it's just me? first i've heard of him... sounds like a FSG signing

has a release clause that comes into effect next year, so hopefully they'll rather get more for him in the summer?

    Grav
    Maca
    Szob
    Stiller
    Jones
    Bajcetic

Would be good, if he's as good as you say, no room for elliot i'm afraid he needs to find a team that fits him

The clubs he has played at will be a factor I would say - Hoffenheim and Stuttgart aren't clubs that everyone is gluing themselves to on the regular in terms of watching matches. Also isn't a super marketable player on the looks front - doesn't have the aesthetic of someone like Szoboszlai, whose face wouldn't look out of place on a fashion mag.

But yes - he is an excellent player. He's got that ability to slow things down and dictate like a Kroos, chooses his tackles well and is really good in both areas. Can find the defence-splitting passes to add to that. If there is a critique of him it's that I wouldn't be expecting much in the way of goals, but I'd see him as being rotated with Gravenberch and Mac Allister to keep things fresh in the midfield.

I'd love us to get him. The thought of not having to burn Szob/Mac/Grav out and maintaining really high quality is super exciting.

Also yes, he is good enough for Real Madrid or Man City, for sure - we can expect competition for him.

Peter Beardsley wasn't exactly a looker, but he was a thing of beauty when it came to what he delivered on the pitch.

Everton are contemplating a deal to bring former striker Richarlison, 27, back to the club, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly willing to accept a fee in the region of Ł40m. (GiveMeSport, external)
