Think he'll do amazing under alonso at real who don't have to defend as much tbh, also spanish league probably suits him a little more

Think they'll make more use of his passing, especially with alonso at the helm.

Looking forward to seeing how he does, apart from if playing us.

Providing for Vinicius, Mbappe and Rodrygo, bit different than Nunez/Diaz/Jota init

also interesting to see how this effects salah going forward.

Mac Allister signed a deal with Brighton to make sure that they got some money for him when he was sold. If TAA truly loved the club he would have done the same.

I've always been of the opinion that unless he is providing a fair few assists and a few goals, he can be and has been more of a liability than an asset on the pitch. He has increasingly had the appearance of a 'Billy big balls' which is one of a number of reasons why I'm a bit "meh" about the non financial repercussions of him leaving.
It’s far easier to concede goals than it is to score them, and as a Right Back your primary job is to defend… Trent’s primary thought was always to go forward, his attitude towards defending was always questionable, which unfortunately became an achilles heel of Klopps team.

Jurgen Klopp’s heavy metal football perfectly suited Trents attributes going forward, but Slot’s more measured approach is a different animal and as such I would hazard a guess that deep down, Slot is not too disappointed to see the back of the Trent Alexander Roadshow…

My rationale is that that whilst Trent was perfectly suited to Klopp’s heavy metal football, Bradley like wise is imho perfectly suited to how Slot wants to play…. and so it’s a win win for all parties…

Time will tell I guess, it’s going to be interesting to see how Trent’s journey develops from here… personally I don't think it’s going to be the walk in the park his bessie mate Bellingham has convinced him it will be…. hey ho who cares… not me.

it's a natural response to losing someone you love, "|he's not that good anyway he can't defend" "bradley who's played how many games for us?" is better- yeah YEP YEPa if he's ever fucking fit BTW!!!!! it's ok aint we got that even more injury prone player somewhere that'll end up playing in scotland that plays RB? maybe he's better than them both? helps people get over it you know?

It's like when stevo had a 10/10 lady...... then she got rid, he went down to a 5/10 lady but she's got a bubbly amazing personality and the best thing since sliced bread, but that's not the case- now he's all bitty and snappy on here because he lost the 10/10 I think this is the best way to describe it.

At the start of the 1976-1977 season Kevin Keagan announced his intensions to leave Liverpool to try his luck in Europe, we ended up being league champs, European champs and FA cup runners up, Keagan left for Hamburg for 500,000 pounds, and we signed Kenny Delglish for 450,000 pounds. notice the difference

Maybe a bit of an unpopular take with some on here, but for me,....

    Good riddance.

If he truly cared about the club as he's now claiming to on his way out, he would have signed a contract extension to allow the club to recoup something.
But then Real Madrid probably told his people that if he signed an extension, they wouldn't sign him. Which,....in my opinion should have clued him into how much they really value him...but whatever.

Instead he dragged it out as long as he did to avoid fan backlash, and knowing he could at least keep a segment of his loyal fanbase onboard with his "will-he-or-won't-he" stance, while forcing the club to live in limbo land by not going out to get a replacement early as they tried still to get him to sign an extension that he knew he was never going to sign. Just stringing them/us along all through it.
And while at it, hampering Conor Bradley's development as his natural successor as Conor likely would have featured more, if the club were more of the clear opinion that there was no turning back with Trent re-signing.

Honestly his whole song-and-dance routine has done a lot of not insignificant damage that's never going to be spoken about because,...."local lad"/"local hero" yada yada yada yada....

I say good riddance, and at least I don't have to worry about him making a U-turn as many of his fanclub had been predicting he would.

We're better off moving on and getting a solid defender and competition for Conor Bradley and rebuild that defense and a defending-first unit.

I maintain that he'll get found out in Madrid pretty quickly - especially on the defensive end- and just as quickly he'll find out that the Madrid fans are not as forgiving as his Scouser fanclub.
And it shouldn't be too surprsing to see him back in the Premier league in about 2 or 3 seasons time with a Villa or a Brentford.

A cold hard fact that his fans on here will never escape is that during his tenure here we conceded the most goals under Klopp and going into Slot's tenure originating from his wing - either from direct crosses from a winger who beat him one-on-one, or from a defensive breakdown originating from his failure to track back and cover his flank forcing one of the CB's/midfielders to do so thus opening a hole in the middle from which the goal was scored, or sometimes just from his plain careless too-frequent sloppy giveaways.

I haven’t said anything I haven’t been saying about Trent’s game for years on here.
Capable of excellent assists and 50 yard passes but capable of costing us just as much in our defensive third.
I am only bothered because he’s going on a free.

And Bradley IS an excellent prospect

Not bad for the 2nd best defense considering he costs us all the goals

Bradly has started about 22-23 games in his career for us so far and a lot of sub appeareances coming back from injury's, and he's better than trent and good riddance to trent?

    Baffling

Can I remind people of all the pin-point crosses that have led to goals ?
THe pin-point passes- that's either set up players, not if it's fuckin nunez..... or helped set up a goal ?

One of the most, if not the most creative RB's in the world...... more creative than any of our mdifield...... that's meant to be Szob's job, doesn't do it enough for me, but that's why we have trent/salah combo to destroy teams....

be sad he's gone, but don't make out he's shit, he's grown up with us.... thank him move on, and remember all the good he's done, first title team in 30 years etc etc..... he's done more than gerrard in that regards.

Big reason why we won stuff under Klopp, madness henderson gets more credit.

if we go into the season with Bradley Gomez And Quansah as our RB choices- well..... good heavens injuries galore

19/20 season when we won the league he played EVERY single game, that's right thirty-eight with his best goals/assists hault 4/13..... but i guess he was shit that's why we won the league, and kept up close behind city around that time

Morons trying to put him down !!
