Who has said he’s better than Trent? Better at defending yes but he’s just coming through, he will get better

And putting us under pressure by poor defending doesn’t mean it results in a goal

Capable of excellent assists and 50 yard passes but capable of costing us just as much in our defensive third.
I am only bothered because he’s going on a free.

And Bradley IS an excellent prospect
    This^

"Only bothered because he's going for free"

Shows what you think of him, oh lord I hope you lot see his true worth next season when he's not here.

Wouldn't be saying this if he was staying, we're not fickle plastic chelsea/shitty fans so don't act like it,

we'll see because according to you and others, he won't be missed- and i'm sure salah won't miss him at all, we shall see ey.

FFS I never said Bradley was, tbf who is like Trent, going forward he is without doubt a unique takent, hence why Real Nadrid want him…so on that basis we have to accept any replacement will more than likely be completely different to Trent, and yes Bradley has only played 20+ games….

However, in those 20+ games, Bradley has clearly shown his style of Right Back play and it’s nothing like Trents, and all I am saying is that I suggest Bradley’s style of playing might well end up being be a better fit to Slot’s style than Trents ever would be…

I wasn’t dissing Trent, far from it, just trying to interpret our current situation…

Or - it could mean he doesn’t begrudge Trent his move. That he has won the lot with us - and been great at assisting. but also on the flip side at times very poor at defending - see both things are true. Strange isn’t it..?

And we are all miffed the club doesn’t get a penny for him.

    That’s how I read it

I'm so glad trents defending is that bad in 38 games played in the title winning season we conceded 33 and ended up on 99 pts not to mention the 18/19 season we just missed out, even better at the back twent-fucking-two. conceded

ffs trent not bad winning the league and getting close multiple times, hardly conceding for a player that can't defend at all, imagine if we had a RB who could defend?!?! we'd concede 10 only?!?! win the league more times? damn I wish we had arbeloa at the time, or a steve Finnan

He deserves respect, for what he's done..... some of you are sounding like bitter manc fans, you're better than that, he's played a big part in us winning things. that we had to wait years for especially the prem, he'll always be remembered for that to me, and you lot need to give some credit, jesus.

It could just be that we were that defensively good because the other defenders playing alongside him were much better as a complement to him and more importantly as a recompense for his obvious frailties and weakness (Along with the other outfield players who frequently covered for him - especially the midfielders), rather than it was a statement that Trent's defensive shortcomings weren't hurting the team.

Let's not lie to ourselves that they were not.

It was OBVIOUS to everyone that every team we played came down on the position that they organized their attacking tactics against us based on attacking his flank primarily.
That wasn't an accident nor a coincidence.
    They could see it too.

It must be a really good thing that Trent is leaving, because it hopefully will disabuse the segment of the fanbase that insists on living in this rose-coloured glasses world of, "he was always nothing but the knees bees",....which they seem adamant in not wanting to leave.

Yes, it is true that Trent's attacking strengths played heavily into Klopp's style and the success we experienced under him as a result.

But we're not playing Klopp's style anymore. At least not entirely.

We're better off suited finding someone who will play better in Slot's system.

Craig on Anfield Agenda reckons that Real Madrid social media is full of fans saying they don't want him, remembering how he stood by and watched Vinicius score the winner against us in the CL final.
I am sad he is leaving, but I find it selfish of him to run his contract down, so we lose out on around a hundred million.

Let's not forget the quick corner, origi finished and made it 4-0 against barca against all odds

for us to go on and beat spurs in the final.

YNWA trent, thanks for memories and all the best.

you can say about his defending blabla but anyone that has a bad word to say about him is a clown.
