Liverpool XI v Brighton
Alisson
Bradley, Konate, Quansah, Tsimikas; Elliott Gravenberch, Szoboszlai
Salah, Chiesa Gakpo;
Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Endo, Van Dijk, Diaz, Nunez, Jones, Robertson, Judas.
Not a fan of all this “resting” players and chopping and changing. This is not a dead rubber for Brighton or the teams they are competing with for the final European place.
What are they being rested for? 8 days since the last game and 6 til the next.
Anywho, Chiesa finally gets a start so some will be happy.
"I am the Normal One."

Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Should be good enough for the win

It's like Chiesa only gets to ride the Horse without a saddle.. FFS Arne... give the lad a chance...
That said - Great chance for Quansah/Elliott to show they have futures here next season - Konate needs to show leadership without Virgil..
Slot made the right calls this season with choosing the right players.. Chisea wasn't one of them called upon
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
He went exclusively with Klopp's strongest 11 whenever they were able to walk.. But that doesn't mean Chiesa couldn't have been used more. He absolutely could - and should. Certainly the last 2 games.. It's like we aren't allowed to see him in a stronger lineup.
Glad Slot made his choices.. seemed to have worked..

If Bradley isn't yet up to the full 90 minutes I wonder if we see Gomez come on instead of Trent.
Slot speaking about Chiesa, Quansah and Elliot's inclusion:
"it's also interesting for me to see a few players that we haven't seen enough, if you look at their quality...so this is a good moment for them to show where they are"
