Not sure how much that result was down to the Saudi team being better than many thought they'd be, and how much it was down to Real Madrid not being at the races.

The last 10 minutes of that game are proof positive of how corrupt FIFA is. That was never a penalty neves was focussed totally on the ball. And all the additional time on top ridiculous shit. Loved alonso the player but think hes made a bad call taking that job too many egos can see it ending for him likenit did for rafa mid season.

The penalty on its own was bad enough, but that extra time added on was a joke. It seems that Real Madrid have their own version of 'Fergie time' whereby the ref adds on whatever time they can get away with in order for Real Madrid to get a goal.

The biggest joke imo was that 10 minutes extra time. Game was 1:1 ok there were 2 penalties - but 10 minutes…? Farce “competition” and refereeing to suit.
