Ridiculous booking, following his third penalty giveaway of the season already.
He’s been as bad as anyone except Konate and Salah who are both a complete waste of a shirt.

Kerkez wasn’t so bad - but he gets no help at all from Cody… Gakpo was one of our weakest players across the entire squad in Klopp’s last season. And I mean even in games where he played alongside the kids as a senior. I was watching closely last season and despite his decent return on GA (stats stats) he was also very often culpable for teams breaking on us.

He was used brilliantly but mainly to keep Diaz fresh. It worked in a side where most were bang on form. That’s about the best he offers. Squad player imo - and part of why it was bonkers to sell Diaz and not even try to replace.

VVD helping Kerkez settle in... youre having a laugh. He's been shocking in how hes treated Kerkez. A few weeks back he cunted Kerkez out of it, Kerkez then dropped as VVD was fucking awful to him in that game.

Last night that first half from Virgil, he deserved to be hooked in the 1st half or at halftime.
Gave away the penalty, lucky not to be booked, gave away a stupid free kick and got booked. They scored an offside goal. Cut a fella with his foot high, and ended the half bollocking the refs. Looked like he was on a 1 man mission to tank the game.

2nd half, Salah let's his man waddle past him. At this point the goalscorer is VVDs man. Kerkez has a player out to his left. VVD just runs from his man creating the big space to attack. Kerkez unaware of VVD suddenly vacating his space, leaves his man and starts to come in on to VVDs guy. He scores. Kerkez gets the blame.

3rd goal moments before this goal, VVD cunts Kerkez out again. Konate with an error then and neither cb get a block in.

4th goal, inconsequential really, VVD poor for that too.

Van Dijk looks like a guy who thinks he's cock of the walk but unfortunately he's making a lot of errors. He's also shouting at others all the time. Not exactly inspiring. I wonder if it's a case of not really having respect for Slot. Looks like Slot's not really in charge. Seems to be player-power. Would explain Salah's attitude too. I think the personalities are too big for Slot.

I agree he hasnt handled it well but still think as captain he feels responsable and with new boy on his left and konate going awol plus a 2 man midfield not protecting the defence.

I don't see our Dutch coach dropping virg, our team captain, the dutch captain. Or Gakpo for that matter. There's no options to come in, could replace Konate with Gomez. After that all we have left are tall midfielders to go in, maybe Dom lol.
