Giorgio doesn't inspire me, for the price we paid he should have been close to an elite keeper. He looks nervous, and timid which is an awful sign for such a big guy. The odd fingertip save aside his blocking and distribution are woeful. I wouldn't even have him as number 2, sell even at a loss please.

Unfortunately spot on. How on earth we let Kelleher go for such a small fee on a permanent deal, rather than loan him if he wanted to play every week… I have no idea.

They really fucked it up last summer, some shockingly amateurish decisions.

I'd rather we were preparing for an impending post Slot/Hedwards/FSG era.

With more and more of our previously quality backbone leaving the club, us needing to get in replacements and players to fix problem positions, Hedwards still behind the scenes wreaking havoc, a potential new manager such as Alonso possibly joining Chelsea, and Slot possibly being allowed to start next season, we could be in for a bit of a nightmare season, one that's as bad, if not worse than this current one.

correct - had the miracle worker in situ - and instead of backing him to be the next Fergie - we handicapped him

So many senior players want to leave. That is worrying. What is going on backstage that nobody is speaking about?

Looks like he was asked to stay on for 1 more season with an agreement he would leave in summer 2025 be a 1st teamer elsewhere.
Played a significant part in winning number 20 & Giorgi was already signed up to replace him.

Seeing Alissons injury issues, it looks to have been a poor outcome for all parties with hindsight, excluding Brentford.

Disagree on last summer. Our problems this year, performances & results, are not down to the quality of player at Slots disposal.

The club was adamant that we would not sign Alisson. Here we are looking at a post Alisson era.

With 1 year left on Slots contract this summer, I wouldn't put much weight on the clubs position in media.
